Directions: If you’re travelling by 4×4, follow these directions to reach B’bos:
- Take the N2 to Caledon.
- Drive through Caledon towards Napier on the R316.
- After 29 km, reach an intersection and turn right onto the R326 towards Stanford.
- Drive 12 km, then turn left at Manor house signboards, keeping right on the gravel road until you reach a T-junction.
- Keep right towards Gansbaai/Elim Drive, staying on this road for 14.5 km.
- At the T-Junction, turn right towards Gansbaai, following the tar road straight into Baardskeerdersbos (6.5 km).
- Turn right at Marietjies Pub into Protea Street, then right into Kerk Street, and finally left into Olienhout, a gravel road. Continue on this road until you reach the end, where you’ll find us—the last property on the right.

Facilitating a seamless experience, our self-check-in process is overseen by our dedicated building staff. During your stay, we graciously accommodate a maximum of two guests, including beloved pets.
Building Staff: Our check-in and check-out times offer flexibility, with early arrivals and departures possible upon prior request. Access to our property, though featuring a rocky and steep road, is navigable without a 4×4 vehicle. Upon your arrival, our hospitable property manager, Alice, will extend a warm welcome and provide a comprehensive tour of our premises. Getting Around: Each of our units accommodates one car, but please note that the roads leading up to our property are sandy, rocky, and steep. So, having your own transportation is essential, actually. While the driveway and road may present some rocky terrain, they remain accessible with a standard light motor vehicle.
Neighbourhood Description: Baardskeerdersbos, affectionately known as B’bos, is a hidden gem in the Overberg region, boasting a quaint village with a population of 103 residents, per the 2011 census. It’s a haven of inspiration for reclusive artists who birthed the renowned Baardskeerdersbos Art Route, a biannual spectacle of creativity that garners adoration from those in the know.
Situated amidst this tranquil paradise are several tourism hotspots, including the globally renowned Gansbaai, where one can witness the majesty of Great White Sharks and Southern Right Whales. Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation policy offers peace of mind:
- Full refund for cancellations made up to 30 days before check-in.
- For bookings made fewer than 30 days before check-in, a full refund is available for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.
- After that, a 50% refund can be obtained for cancellations made up to 7 days before check-in.
- Regrettably, no refunds are available for cancellations made after this 7-day window.
